Walks and open-air activities in Liguria
Liguria is a region that has conquered artists, writers and poets, and where one can do many activities in contact with wild and harsh nature.
Our excursion guides are available to help you discover places of incredible beauty and scenic and cultural value.
First is come the Cinque Terre, UNESCO World Heritage site, and today a National Park and Protected Sea Area. Crystal-clear water, dramatic cliffs and the five perching villages of Manarola, Riomaggiore, Levanto,Vernazza and Corniglia make the Cinque Terre the ideal place for those who want to live with nature. There are two main trails, the Blue and the more famous Via dell’Amore, dedicated to those in love.
For those wishing to experience the Cinque Terre by sea, Viandando offers the chance to sail on the Leudo, a 17th-century vessel used until the early 1900’s for freight transport.
Another interesting trail is the one that runs through the Portofino Naturale Park from San Rocco di Camogli to San Fruttuoso, with its splendid Abbey and the Doria Tower. The variety of landscape is incredible: centuries-old olive groves, bays, rocky coasts, and agricultural terracing create a series of scenes that are incredibly beautiful and fascinating. Liguria can boast another fascinating Park, Montemarcello – Magra. It includes no less than 18 municipalities from Ameglia to Vezzano Ligure and various trails that wend their way along the cliffs from village to village. For whoever wishes for a day of adventure, there are canoe excursions or rafting on the crystalline waters of the Vara River, among deep woods and rocky walls.
